Our annual January getaway took us back to Tathra on the stunning Sapphire Coast, where we explored beaches, bushwalks, and historic sites. From a chaotic Australia Day weekend at a packed caravan park to unexpected detours and a fried camping fridge, the trip was full of adventure, lessons, and unforgettable moments. Highlights included a wildlife cruise off Merimbula, visiting Eden’s Ben Boyd Tower, and discovering a hidden Indigenous waterhole in Biamanga Cultural Area.
